Collette and I weren't too impressed with the Gretchen Rubin book either. We both got what we needed from it from a quick scan in the bookstore and then put it back! And I agree with you about Carolly Erickson; I had Great Harry, Mistress Anne, The First Elizabeth and Bloody Mary all on my shelves at one time. I gave them away before I moved, and may pick up copies of them again, but yeah, her fiction just does not work.
