There's someone who went to investigate the clock just recently, actually. You might want to speak with her before attempting a trip. I also know there are others.

I'm curious myself, but there's just so much to do today.

From what I could find, her name is Umi Ryuuzaki, and she's rather young. She attempted to record her journey, but I was never able to speak with her personally about the aftermath. It didn't seem to end well.
