Mid Summer Update!

DOGS! We just adopted the world's cutest Australian Cattle Dog. She's tiny and has the sweetest smiling face. I'm not, actually. It's very swollen and extremely painful. I'm also experiencing some unpleasant side effects from the antibiotics. I'm worried that they'll have to amputate my foot. No one else seems worried about that, but I am. I'm rather pathetic right now. If they take my right foot, I hope I get something awesome in return, like central air.

Oh, honey! *hugs* If the doctors aren't worried about you losing your foot, then I'm sure it's not a danger. But you sound like need some serious cheering up. Are you feeling up to coming out tomorrow? Can I bring you anything?

I was really upset last night. The pain goes away when I lay still, so today I am relegated to the bed. Of course, what I really want is fresh baked blueberry muffins and coffee, but that would defeat the whole bed rest thing. I'll be fine, I'm sure. I just don't know why this hurts as much as it does and so I get worried.
