Mr. Computer is fixed! It turned out to be a really simple problem, the network card was just loose. I can't believe all of my problems were caused by that but I'm so happy that it wasn't a more serious problem. Now I have a lot of posts to catch up on on a number of different sites, and I almost don't know where to begin. I think I'll get started
