It's nearly midnight and I work in the morning but I can't sleep because I'm worrying about my ten year high school reunion and how much I weigh and what I'd have done differently (ie eat less, not screwed up that ever so romantic semester in which I met the guy of my dreams who shyly flirted with me, the entire affair ending abruptly when I grew

2. I was wondering if I could have your permission to republish parts of Beautiful World for a research paper I'm writing for my Harry Potter class. I'm doing a research paper on slash fanfiction and the different ways it resonates/interacts with readers. I'm focusing on four different aspects: subtext, sexuality, gender, and personal growth/escapism. Your fic was one of the iconic pieces of the fandom, as well as one of the most recognized ones so... it would be really lovely if I could use some parts :) I can tell you which parts I'm going to use in my paper if you so wish-- I'm not really done with it and it's due this Saturday, but I'll probably be done by Thursday or Friday. I can also give you a copy of the paper, if you so wish

I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry! When did you send this? I don't remember. But I got all distracted with packing and sinking into despair and stuff, I forgot to reply, but sure, that would be cool if you still want to do that! It's awesome, I'm glad you thought of my story and I'd love to read your paper even if I'm too late for you to use my stuff!

No it's totally not too late! Thank you so much for sending this :) Yeah, it's not too big of a deal, I'm not turning it in till tomorrow and I'm not done yet so of course :) Thanks! I can send you a copy sometime this weekend or early next week :D
