It's nearly midnight and I work in the morning but I can't sleep because I'm worrying about my ten year high school reunion and how much I weigh and what I'd have done differently (ie eat less, not screwed up that ever so romantic semester in which I met the guy of my dreams who shyly flirted with me, the entire affair ending abruptly when I grew ( Read more... )

I have a job interview at a newspaper a few hours away!!

I'm a bad person for applying for reporter jobs when I'm working at a daycare!!

I've betrayed my bosses, co-workers, friends, and the kids who love me!!

I feel sick.

And I'm terrified.

And super excited.

But what if I suck!

I'm trying to apply for journalism jobs across the country to save myself from my soul-destroying job only they ask for writing samples and I have LOTS but they're all in high-res PDFs and they won't send because they're too big and I don't have photoshop to shrink them and google told me to use some advanced adobe optimizer but I don't have it, ( Read more... )

I keep praying lately and it's sort of freaking me out a little bit. Maybe it's early-onset skizophrenia, because sometimes when I do it, I feel like maybe there really is someone listening.
