There has been 3 times this week that I have sat down to blog, but never ended up getting around to it. So this time I am determined to actually finish a blog post. And for that purpose, I bust out the list tags. Enjoy.

I'm going to wait and see if someone is having a BPAL swap at Frolicon, because I too have like 8-10 imps that just aren't doing it for me. All I wear is Snake Oil, lol. I think my friend Katie is the only local person I know who is really into BPAL, so I dunno who to give em to!

What I'm thinking that I'm going to do is to make 3 mystery imp packs and mail them to people. I don't really want to receive any imps in return because I have 2 orders of imps coming from decant circles. The funny thing is that the only scent that I really enjoy wearing on a daily basis is La Petit Mort. I have 4 imps of aged snake oil that I loved at first, but now it's not working for me. However, it smells like pure sexy on Josh, so I make him wear it..lol!

A while back I exchanged imps with a friend in Texas; I sent her 2, and she sent me, like... 6. XD I was like, "noooo I was trying to get rid of them all!"

Hmm, I don't eat muffins, so that one is a mystery to me... Would soda water or organic sodas help you out at all? Standard cake mix can easily be found around various cookbooks. My family used to always bake from complete scratch and avoided the boxed stuff. Try Allrecipes and see what they may have listed? There are a few vegan communities on LJ as well that offer recipes or you can ask how to make the muffins vegan. Generally people are helpful and not militant. :) Thanks for stumping me - I'm pretty good with general recipes, but since I will not bake at all, I can't do baking recipes!

I've had nothing but luck with 99% of my BPAL... I'm sorry it's not working out for you! It's hard when everyone has a different body chemistry and our scents are different. Ryan sometimes says I smell like something rotting while all I smell is pumpkins, apples, and cloves. It's kind of weird! There are so many great oils out there though; good luck finding a good fit for you ( ... )

Organic sodas would work in place of the diet soda. I haven't tried soda water, but I'm thinking that a mixture of soda water and unfiltered apple juice might provide the same lightness and sweetness as the diet soda. Hmm. I have a great recipe for basic yellow cake, but it involves lots of butter, which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid.

Baking is not my forte. I just want to make something semi-sweet and yummy to keep around the house for those times when I want to snack. I already have popcorn/nuts/organic tortilla chips for the salty cravings. I might just perfect my chewy granola recipe and call it a day.

OH WAIT. APPLESAUCE. I know someone used that once to replace some ingredients... not sure what though. I'd look that up as well!

Also, vegan butter is easy to cook with - I hate the taste if I have a slice of toast, but it gives a nice nutty undertone when used in cooking!
