Cropped, lightened quite a lot, but hardly no contrast. Pink hues added, and I used some lightening brush tools manually. I then drew the heart and placed it on. I don't have a routine, and I hardly ever remember exactly what I've done! A little bit of trial and error really - I'm quite new to icon making :P

thanks! Ive been making icons for a long time but I was using Paint, and now using Photoshop so Im still learngin the tricks on that, Thank you again, and keep up the amazing work
