I wake up in the morning and go to the Instituto Allende with Uncle Frank.  I enjoy taking pictures of the place where Uncle Frank has been taking Spanish lessons for the last week and a half.  Here is some of the pictures I took while I was there:

    Uncle Frank goes to the Spanish Lessons.  Meanwhile Aunt Helen and I go out for breakfast and have the most wonderful hot cakes I've ever had.  We had a really engaging talk about various topics in regard to living your life.  We then looked in a number of shops until we Aunt Helen happened to notice a men's clothing store.  As soon as I looked ( Read more... )

    I take some time getting up today.  I decide to stay in bed and read my book a while.  I found out that I apparently take long showers as Uncle Frank counted the amount of time I spent in the shower.  Since it is the weekend, he does not go to the Spanish lessons in the morning.   Uncle Frank and I leave mid-morning to go on the House and ( Read more... )

    Who knew that memories can fade so quickly without reminders.  As I write this day's entry two days later, I am struck with the inability to remember to remember what occurred this day.  Because of this, I am also struck by the ability to adapt to new routines.  You go to a new place, you find a pattern and then quickly things in some way are ( Read more... )

Normal routine for getting ready for the day.  Uncle Frank comes back and we go out shopping around el Jardin.  We go through numerous shops, but nothing seems to catch my eye today for gifts.  As we are shopping, we pass by this store that was originally a Jewish Casa.
