I guess I'm confused, because I always assumed that Martouf had acceptably shippable appeal with Sam. So everyone's 'surprise' is surprising to me. LOL Martouf was my first Stargate boyfriend. And then they killed him cruelly and Jonas came along in S6 to pick up the pieces and put them together twice.

(Also, the Martouf/Jolinar love theme was just about the best thing Joel Goldsmith ever wrote for the series, imho)

Uh oh, poor Sam! Her happy bubble just burst! I don't know if she'd be happy among the Tok'ra after learning what their secretiveness actually means. She's used to the Asgard and their desire to share knowledge, and the Tok'ra mentality is hardly about sharing.

ZOMGSQUEE!!! Sam is so adorable! I kept bouncing up and down through every scene with Martouf. :D Poor Rodney, though. :P

But geeze, what is up with the Tok'ra hoarding of knowledge? Selfish, much! *grumbles*
