So excited to see this story progress this way. I also love the way that you're writing both weddings at once, could this mean both Carolyn and Elizabeth can be pregnant together too?? I would love to see the letters John and Cam write to each other on that subject lol.

How did I love this chapter? Let me count the ways! Loved the politics -- the difference in titles that John could conceivably hold as Elizabeth's husband, for one. I'm betting that the college is going to be spiteful and just make him prince consort, yes? Though, I imagine that if they do, they could also possibly change that somewhere down the road, perhaps after a few of the children have been born and the college is more reconciled to the marriage.
Then the Caldoran politics -- the assembly freaking out over Sheppard's status, then their freaking out over John wanting to hand it over to Cameron. There's just no pleasing them, is there? ;)
I also loved that Cameron wants Carolyn to be part of the process with him. Plus, he's right -- she is leagues smarter than most of the assembly. And that story about Caldora's one queen regnant! Awesome Caldora backstory is so awesome! *bounces*
Outstanding job! Looking forward to the conclusion! :)

Co-regnant! That's a perfect solution, provided the assembly pulls the sticks out of their butts long enough to agree to it. (Go Caldwell! Methinks he'll be an ally in getting that straightened out.) Let's just hope it ends better than the last one... *shivers*
And at least John can now share his irritation with Cam about being seen as nothing more than a stud. That so did not come out right. Okay, maybe it did. *snorts* I'm glad they've had the chance to talk so much about what's happening and still going to happen, as they're likely to not see each other too much in the future. *pouts* But the idea of Cam and Carolyn visiting Atalan for the wedding is very intriguing, indeed. Bring on the honeymoon! :D
And I'm glad Cameron had the idea of Carolyn as co-regnant. I hope that the college will agree to this! Also, Caldwell standing up to help John was great!
