And... absolutely nothing bad happened at all. I knew it! LOL!
Anyway... SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! THEY'RE FINALLY MARRIED!!!!! *fialis* While that wedding night scene may not have been very explicit, it still left me swooning after the years of anticipation! Quiet, sweet, and utterly romantic. Love it. *fans self* Speaking of anticipation, Teyla and Ronon have got me curling my toes. :D
I really enjoyed all the little cross-section of the court scenes before and during the feast. They make me a little sad, as everyone's stories are now being wrapped up pretty neatly, but it's satisfying too. Though with everything that's been covered in this and the last couple of stories, I wonder what the final story in the series will entail. Should I be afraid, or should I put some champagne on ice to chill? *smirks*
Everything was wonderful. I have to say, though, out of everything I think I might have fangirled the most at Original SG-1 all being at the same table. ;-)
(and also privately assume that Jonas was one of the musicians) ;-)
Daniel's "I am alone but not alone" scene made me a bit weepy.
Loved the last conclusion in Teyla's scene.
Little more than a whim to see the ocean and the great city of Atlantis had drawn him over the mountains.
*happy sigh* And we've been through so much since then!
There are very few stories out there that give you such a feeling of warmth and contentment upon reading them. This series has definitely qualified for that. I look forward to the next story, but will be sad to see the journey ending. As always....amazing!
I'm just so happy to finally see this wedding I can't even process! But it's sad at the same time because that means this story as a whole is almost over :-(
