[ After a few days in the forest with no contact with anyone (save a pair of goodbyes and a note for those still in the Suikopartment), Tyr seems to have decided to finally return to society for the most part.

Or he's ready to return soon, anyway. He just posts a simple, typed message. ]

[Cue one angry chibi standing on the sidewalk behind Tyr. ]

It isn’t very nice to invite some one to stay with you and then disappear!

[ Oh. Dang. He turns around, recognising her voice immediately. ]

I'm... I'm sorry. I couldn't really... [ He doesn't know how to begin. ]

Action!!

You better have a good explanation!

[ He didn't know what counted as a good reason to her... He crouched down to her level. ]

I just needed some time alone. A lot happened last weekend.

[ Appearing behind him: ]

You have leaves in your hair.

[stargathering]

[ Looking over his shoulder! And brushing his fingers through his hair. ]

...Thanks. Is it gone now?

Mostly.

Were you living in a tree?

Actually, I was. [ Still brushing stuff out of his hair... ]

[Iroh wipes down the tables, so lost in his own thoughts, he doesn't hear the door open.]

[ Tyr would think it's unusual if he weren't a little consumed by his own thoughts and growing worry. He does note that something is a little off, though. ]

[Iroh looks up and puts on a smile.]

Tyr! I'm sorry. I did not hear you come in. Please, have a seat. Can I get you something?

[ Tyr politely returns the smile just a little. While his eyes are still wandering around the room, he slides into an empty seat. He hadn't intended to stay long, but he thought he deserved a little break. ]

A cup of tea would be nice about now--whatever you have brewed.

...And have you seen Katara yet today?

[Upon receiving his text message, she had been searching the whole City for him. When he went to their apartment, she went to his. When he went to the Jasmine Dragon, she went back to her apartment. It was really starting to annoy her that at one point of the day, she just huffed and sat on the fountain, almost ready to give up.]

[So, she didn't know why her feet managed to take her to the docks in slow but sure steps. She was still pretty hopeful that she'd find him - as was always the case for her - but it was a feeling that was slowly waning by each step she made.

Until she saw his form by the docks. Her blue eyes couldn't have gone any wider.]

[Or they couldn't have gone any wetter when her steps became swift and numerous as she made her way towards him. Now, every step fueled that almost waning hope while he became closer in her line of vision.]

Tyr! [She calls out even when she's still far from him.] There you are!

[ Tyr wasn't sure how long he had been laying on the wooden dock, staring up at the dark blue sky and foreign stars overhead, but he had probably fallen asleep a few times. And even though he was sitting up again now, he almost thought he was dreaming again when he heard her voice and spun around and saw the outline of her figure. Even if it was late and she was far away, he'd know her anywhere.

Swinging his feet back up onto the dock, he ran towards her without any doubts. It had to be her, and she had to have been looking for him just as he was. ]

Katara!

[When Tyr gets back to the apartment, he'll find Aldo... pouring over a cookbook. He's been practicing the past week or so.]

[stargathering]

[ Is it one of Gremio's? is Tyr's first thought when he sees Aldo there. He takes a few slow steps towards him, stopping a few feet short. ]

You picked up a new hobby, huh?

[ This is his attempt at a joke. ]

[It's not, actually. Aldo wouldn't touch someone's things without permission: He's picked up a few of his own since he arrived, though. He'll smile when he sees Tyr is back.] Welcome back! Did you two manage ok?

Well, it's useful. All I cooked back home was over a campfire, so...... Besides, I promised Ted I would.

[stargathering]

[ Tyr smiles a little and brushes some of the plant matter and dirt from his hair. ]

Yeah, it wasn't anything special. [ He walks a little closer to see what Aldo is looking at. ] So are you trying to impress Ted for his big return?

[ Totally not like Tyr dragged him there and back... ]
