Fruit flies
I just learned that the term "fruit fly" could be a nicer way to say "fag hag", as in a woman who socializes predominantly with gay men. I am so amused. I always knew I was annoying, but I never thought that I needed an insect metaphor to go along with it. :-P

Andria points out that the good thing about this term is that it's gender-neutral. I think it's nicer than fag hag, despite pest connotations.

On another note: in my Stonehill experience, the fruit flies were the gay men themselves NOT me. THEY FOUND ME, damnit!

i guess it can work both ways but it seems better for the girls. to me it works for the gays if they are part of a diva's posse.
the other day (ie like last month)i was trying to figure out what to call male fag hags cause alas they dont seem to have a term.
what i came up with?
