The series finale of Justified was AMAZING!!!! Gotta love a show with a satisfying ending..

( and this show certainly had a brilliant sendoff! )

I'm sure season two of Penny Dreadful will be awesome. Now that the characters have been introduced, it's time to toss some crazy plots into the mix!

Like I said on your LJ, I wish I knew where my love for Arrow went....

That's funny because hubs said just last night he thought Arrow was finally picking up again. Funny how tastes change and how different people see things.

Super glad to hear Justified had a satisfying ending. I didn't read your spoilers because I WILL watch this show LOl.

Yeah, I wish I knew where my love for Arrow went. I'm just so into the other shows I watch and it's just not as good as they are (in my opinion). But the target audience is different. I watch so few shows on 'regular' networks...I know 95% of what I watch are on cable channels, and they can get away with more than the network censors. And I like that fact..the darker, more gritty stuff. Hmmm..what does that say about me?!?!? LOL!!!!

The ending was soft and bittersweet and one of the best series' finales ever because everyone got what they needed. Ava got her freedom, Raylan got knocked down a peg by realizing he's not the fastest shooter by getting hit in the head by Boon and then reconnected with his family in Miami, and Boyd got prison time which is where all this started.

I think I'm most happy with Ava. I'm glad Raylan protected her, and to be honest I don't care how much Boyd thinks he loves her, he treated her like shit. The minute any man talked to me the way he did Ava (or put his scrawny hands on me) I would have hit the road. She deserved better, and I'll hope she finds a way to get back and find the money on the mountain.

I totally agree with everything you said! Not many shows have closure like Justified did. The premise that was set up in episode one came to fruition.

I am also glad Raylan didn't take Ava in. She deserves some happiness in her life, and I like to think she eventually becomes content. Yes, Boyd was AWFUL to her, he doesn't deserve anything when it comes to Ava.

OHHHH!!! I've been waiting for the finale to happen so I could start the last season of Justified. I'm so sad Boyd is in jail :( :( I loved that guy. lol

Boyd Crowder will always be one of the BEST tv characters ever! But he sure did his share of illegal things! I'm glad he didn't die on the show...but he did get what he deserved.

The whole premise of the show was Raylan being brought back to Harlan County to put Boyd away forever, and the show concluded with that...and that's why it was so satisfying..a tv show actually with a plan and it go followed through to the end!
