I was shocked when I heard the news. I'm glad I was home, so I could take the time to just...sit..and let it sink in. A quiet man, but onstage...was a powerhouse. I never saw him life, unfortunately, but my daughter did -- twice -- and said it was the best show she's ever seen

I did see headlines about Chyna and Percy Sledge. 2016 has taken too many incredible people..

I had to go to the grocery store before work and waited as long as I could before leaving the house watching the tv coverage. Then just walked through the store stunned. The local channels preempted everything, staying on the air all afternoon.

I saw an interview with Stevie Wonder and he was near tears. Had me tearing up as well...

I watched that first video three times yesterday - I just love that song and Prince is beyond amazing here. I asked my older daughter if she was watching all the tributes and clips of him and she said she couldn't, she was too upset. She just cried and cried when she heard the news. How cool your daughter got to see him.

It was such a shock, I was almost in tears myself. I had to change the channel after awhile. I just couldn't watch anymore.
