I knew this would happen

Jun 06, 2016 20:01

I buy a ticket to an event then get invited to something else on the same day.

I might change my mind about going to the beach.

My sister just invited me to go see Eddie Money on September 24.

I knew it was Sunfest weekend that weekend.

Will my car make the 150 mile trek (and back) to the beach?

Why is this my life?????

You've got two tickets to paradise!
Sorry, I couldn't resist. :)

Perfect comment!

I can try to sell the one ticket.

And if my car is acting up I can always rent one to drive to the beach (since I have a free place to stay and my sister will do all the cooking, too!).

Awwwwwwwwwww...
I can imagine this are difficult decisions...

I am sure you'll do what feels right for you, huh?

And I hope if you end up going to the beach that your car will make it there without breaking down!

Right after I bought the ticket yesterday, I had a little feeling that I shouldn't have.

While it would be great to hear Mike Rowe speak and tell incredible stories, I'd still be going to the show by myself and although fun, it's always better to share fun times with people you know.

I have put the ticket up for sale on a couple sites -- hopefully someone will buy it. I'm not trying to make any money off it - I'm selling it for what I paid for it, so that should help. And it's a second row seat.

I don't see my family enough, so I'm going to go to the Eddie Money concert with my sister and brother in law. Going to the beach won't cost me too much -- I have a free place to stay, and my sister will do all the cooking! LOL!

And depending on how I'm feeling about my car in September, I may just go to a car rental company and rent one, so I won't have to use my car.
