 I'm also thinking of setting up a separate email account purely for contacting literary agents. My thinking is that this way I can keep all my "business" stuff in one place - and if I have my actual name in the email, instead of my half-assed solfeggio syllables, then it might look more professional.

Or?

What do you think?

Agreed! I got a separate account for sending my resume and other general official/work stuff. And, yeah, if you have a professional-sounding email address (like ddreyer@gmail.com, or whatever), that's good too. :D
