And a continuation to the previous (long) drabble off Hotsuma's kitty-cat tales: Partner which I very originally called ... Partner (2).  Yep my creativty levels are skyrocketing these days, LOL.

AHAHAHAAAAAAhh! I should have known Shuusei would react like this!!! Poor Hotsuma... He's just so very worried and wants Shuusei to be happy and... doesn't want to hurt him at all... Shuusei really is an asshole for pouring more guilty feelings on the poor guy!!!

But I love how he makes up for it and cuddles his kitty and showers him with his love and affection in the end. And that he tells him so clearly how much he trusts Hotsuma to find a way to get him back. Sometimes Hotsuma needs to hear this especially after Shuusei was so cruel to him!!!

He isn't an asshole. He just can't resist Hotsuma's charm when the boy (or cat in this case) is all riled up :-) (and neither can I, LOL)

Of course he has to show Hotsuma it was all just a bit of kindly meant teasing :-) Shusei has to make sure there aren't any misunderstanding between them that could make them drift apart anew cause that is of course the last thing either want to happen :-)

Yeah, trust, majorly important! And like Hotsuma would ever fail to live up to that trust! No way!

It's still an asshole move to intentionally make Hotsuma feel guilty for what he did... Shuusei knows well enugh how bad Hotsuma feels about the scars he's put on Shuusei's body. Don't get me wrong I love Shuusei teasing Hotsuma and laughing when he gets his partner. But for me intentionally making someone feel guilty about things they really have problems with is not okay, no matter how canon it is ^^''' But yes Hotsuma is cute when he's so serious.

Yup... And he can be glad that Hotsuma doesn't hold grudges against his partner!! If I were him I would feel bad inside for the rest of the day... And hope Shuusei wouldn't notice because I know it's ridiculous but the feeling would still be there.

Nope! Hotsuma would always move heaven and hell to save Shuusei. And Shuusei can be sure of it. It's one of their ultimate truths!!!

BTW have you noticed I've updated deaf Hotsu?

I don't think Shusei truly does it to hurt Hotsuma. But for so long those burns were a "no going there" subject that for Shusei now it has to be a relief that they can joke about it without Hotsuma turning anew in a brooding guilty mess. (That and with all Hotsuma's honest promises, Shusei has to lighten the air or he will pounce Hotsuma's bones, LOL.) So it is all in good spirit and heart that Shusei jokes around a bit. And if it would truly hurt and upset Hotsuma, Shusei would never do that. Before I doubt he ever made jokes regarding his burn scars ...

Hotsuma loves Shusei way too much; That blond is OWNED, LOL.

And I don't think you would be ridiculous for holding a grudge if something indeed upsets you. It is a way to deal with the emotions. Just as long as you don't let it drag on and fester.

Yep, I noticed. And read. And loved it (despite it being such a heart-breaking chapter)
