Coats, cont.

So, yesterday cleversticks and I went to the mall to buy winter coats on clearance. Not because our coats are dingy and filthy and embarrassing to my mother, but because we wanted to -- and because buying a coat on clearance or otherwise massively on sale is really the only affordable way to do it

Must we? I'd prefer to see the look of dismay on her face in person!

That is true, but think of it this way: we don't know when that's going to be, and we get to control the setting. We could go down to the lake and do a majestic pose on the ice mountains or something.
