I thought about you yesterday and today and am so happy to see that you walked and had an amazing time. My friend asked me to join her on the walk here and I was honored to - I thought often about you and your parents and was moved by the magnitude of support I saw. (Did I ever tell you that Erin and I were in Central Park last year during the AIDS Walk and I almost broke down in tears multiple times? Seeing all of those people and their signs was amazing!!!)
Since we already talked about the serious stuff, can I be shallow and comment on how adorable you look in those pictures? Because you look completely adorable. ♥
Cel, your original post was before I joined LJ, and I didn't even know...how could I not know?
Anyway, I appreciate you for sharing your story, and that of your family so that we can truly understand something that seems to have disappeared from our daily consciousness...and it really shouldn't. We should be striving everyday to find a cure and to make sure people know and understand the disease.
