Beading requires a pretty large start-up cost, initially. You'll need crimps (I like the professional look of crimp tubes with crimp covers on top), a crimping tool, clasps, spacers, large focal beads and smaller beads, as well as good beading wire -- I totally recommend SoftFlex, available from www.artbeads.com. I also recommend using sterling silver or gold-filled metal; gold-filled does not chip like gold-plated. You can find a lot of really neat stuff cheap if you hit up flea markets, antique stores (sometimes)and yard sales. Be prepared to lose money initially if you go the beading route.
I would love to buy a book of your poetry and prints. Price depends on the size of the book, and publishing costs.
You could also hit up garage sales/flea markets/etc., buy various items that look like they could be worth something and put them up on eBay.
