Well I was attempting to finish my lost icons (and I haven't finished them yet but I promise soon) and I was fooling around and stumbled upon this really nice coloring. So I said why not make a tutorial I haven't made a tutorial in a while.

~Not Translatable uses Selective Coloring sorry!
Remember that this doesn't work for all images, but play around with the settings until your satisfied with the result.
1. Prep your image. For this image and other screencaps I usually add a screen layer then I use color balance on the screened layer to make it more blue so the image isn't as yellow. For this image I added 2 screen layers and sharpened the last screen layer once.
2. Add a new color layer in a dark blue I used #000628. Set to exclusion 100%
3. Add another color layer in a light blue I used #a1cbef. Set to soft light 100%
4. Add a new selective color layer with the following settings:
Red: -100, 100, 100, 100
Yellow: 0, 0, 100, 0
Cyan: 100, 55, -4, 51
Neutrals: 16, 0, 0, 12
5. Add another selective color layer with the following settings:
Red: -35, -9, 56, 78
Cyan: 100, 0, 0, 0
Thats it to get to the first icon.. if you want to get the second variation....
6. Add a new color layer in a tan I used #e1d1c5. Set to multiply 100%
7. Add a new selective color layer with the following settings:
Yellow: 0, 0, -100, 0

Thats it! I would love to see what you got and any comments you might have. If you want to use any of these icons please credit me. Thanx! =D
