Well, I have no big favorite this year. I don't imagine ever seeing a group grab me again like when I found out Lordi was going to Eurovision last year.

I don't know what the hell England is thinking, their entry is horrible this year. I'm not even going to post a link to it.

I really like Germany's entry with it's Rat Pack feel.

But I think my favorite so far is Romania.

Sweden reminds me of David Bowie for some reason.

The Ark has a totally different feel than the last time I heard them: check out Fool To Remain Sane by them..not my favorite, but it stuck in my head.

Love the German one, totally missed that the first time around.

Ukraine: Love it. Reminds me of Hedwig & the Angry Inch if MTV played it.
Romania: Totally rooting for this one. It's cute, catchy and the music/vocalists are pretty good.
Bulgaria: Mix between persian techno, japanese drums and a shrill woman.
Russia: Pussycat Dolls meet Tatu. Catchy, though.

I know I'm gonna have to go around and listen to them all one of these days. I feel like shit so maybe if I call in, I'll go through and catch them all.

Please confirm the May 12th date and lemme know what time? Looking forward to this more than you know.

I hope somehow, the Romania song gets on iTunes or is otherwise produced because I might feel a tinge of guilt if I rip it from teh video.

I didn't get anything yesterday, I think gmail was goobered totally yesterday, because I got *NO* mail whatsoever. I'll try and be here for the semi finals as well, shouldn't be too hard since the 12th is a weekend and I don't work then. Can just take my day off on the 10th so we can watch. :)
