Egg on my face, OR, The Starkiller is not as Infalliable as she sometimes appears....

I made a boo-boo. Yup. A pretty big one, but hey. Shit happens, right? I'm not going to offer excuses for said boo-boo, but I will give a reason. Which is semantics, really, but read into that what you will, b.c frankly, I don't give a fuck ( Read more... )

And all this could have been avoided if you'd left an apology in the guest book, you know. -After the accusation. That never occurred to you? *g*

And perhaps it never occurred to you that I did not know where the site was, hmm?

I'd like very much to consider this matter ended. Over. Closed. Finished. Did that perhaps occur to *you*?

*head desks*

Did you READ this post? I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE THE SITE WAS, I DIDN'T POST IN THE BLOODY GUESTBOOK!

I quote: I had not contacted the author of "My Justice," b.c on Adultff.net I couldn't find a working email addy,

And: 1. I killed that email - and yes, it was indeed mine - about two months ago when a certain individual who has been plaguing me for far too long was using my generic accounts to pretend to be me. Why he was doing this was b.c he wanted a reaction out of me as I was ignoring him and he does not cope with being ignored. He'd tried other things - many other things, which I shall not go into, b.c frankly, it's no one's business and is also under legal investigation, so I can't talk about it anyway. He had ALL my generic email names (DracoWhore, notsovicious, DevaOfDebauchery, GodStarkiller,) and b.c he knew me pretty fucking well, was able to crack their passwords and hack into the accounts. Thankfully, those accounts I had were created solely for dealing with him b.c I did not want to give him either of my 2 ( ... )

The chicky in question was NOT the author of "My Justice," she claimed to be a 'concerned friend looking out for her dear friend....

... The dear chicky who was defending her friend was imploring her accolytes to rise up and seek me out and build more bonfires. I imagine she has probably edited her LJ entry by now, b.c god knows - that edit function is there for a reason. *snerk*

I am assuming you are refering to ME....and my rant about the sometimes unfortunate wording of publicly displayed feedback and how 2 very good authors reputations could be harmed by an accusation of plagarism.

Did you read my entire post, or did you give it the same attention as the story you originally thought to be a copycat?

You made your apologies, and said it was an honest mistake. That's all you can do.

In other news... Boromir and Faramir ::points to icon:: Pretty men.

I just want to throw my two cents in - Seeing as it is a free for all :)

It was an honest mistake and I applaud Starkiller's bravery for admitting she made a Boo Boo :)

Not to offend anyone, HOWEVER I don't think anyone else had the right to jump down her throat other than the author of the fic, no matter how justified they feel they were.

A mistake was made, apologies were made and forgiveness granted. It should have remained between the two of them and not picked up by supposed champions with swords flying...........which appears to be exactly what im doing at the mo :) so ill shut up now, but i felt i really had to say it!!! Get it? Got it? Good!!!

Perhaps it is akin to waving a red flag to a bull. I dunno. I feel like a really fat lamb on the barbeque. But that could also be the weather.
