What'd you think of the end of Ink Masters? [Putting behind a spoiler cut in case you haven't seen it yet.]I liked the season less this time -- it felt a lot meaner than previous ones. I had liked Joshua though, maybe that's why it felt more mean. I think the editing of the season must have been odd? In the last ep, the judges disliked him, which seemed out of the blue to me.
Hmm. I liked this season as much as I've liked the previous ones. Maybe this one was my favorite, just because I enjoyed looking at the very good-looking Tatu Baby and Joey Hamilton all season long.
I HATE reality show fights, however, so more often than not, I just fast-forwarded through the "watching them sit around and talk/ fight" scenes and stuck to the tattoo challenges. I didn't get the hate for Joshua, either.
I ended up fast-forwarding through most of the 2-hour finale for same reasons. Not interested in watching them fight, just show the tattoos, please. :/
Oooh yes, if I had fast forwarded through those parts, I would have enjoyed the show a lot more. There was just so much fighting this time! And all of it "everyone gang up on Joshua". Even if I hadn't liked him, I wouldn't have enjoyed that.
Black Flag!!!! You gave your new laptop a most beautiful wallpaper. Just a few more weeks to go. Woot.
And your summary on Boardwalk Empire is so on point. It has such potential to be a powerful show, but there's just something about it that keeps it from getting there. Some of the characters are really fascinating though. I LOVE Richard Harrow.
YES! The show was so many characters that are fascinating (I like Richard and nutjob Gillian and Chalky a lot), and so many that are... not. Spend more time on the interesting people!
Hey there, I kinda stalked your blog from your response to my post over in the Eikaiwa community. Just wanted to add my 2 cents: Sleepy Hollow is freaking amazing! I'm so addicted to that show right now. I'm also digging the interracial kinda-sorta-not-really-romance thing they have going on at the minute.
