I really need to stop freaking out over this move. The new place is calm because it's empty, and as soon as we fill it, it will no longer be calm.

What the hell is my problem??

Boy does this sound familiar. I was freaking out about moving here five years ago and I hate it. But I just got used to it after awhile I guess and did my best to cope with the surroundings.

Maybe you're stressed out with change. Maybe you're clutter phobic. Take this time to think about what you need and don't need and get rid of the stuff that don't matter to your life anymore. You can also take the time to think about new room styles too. Being honest with what you love and don't love is very important as I'm finding out now as we speak. If you fill things with what you love you might just be happier with your new surroundings quicker. I'm going to test this theory in September.

But trust me. You will settle down in a few weeks. Good luck!
