Friends

I've found that history doesn't mean everything in a friendship. Just because two people have been through some stuff and come out together in the past, doesn't automatically mean that they'll continue to do that in the future ( Read more... )

You are both right and wrong (in my opinion).

Having history can be a significant advantage in maintaining (or restarting) a friendship. The strongest friendships are often the longest, however that does not mean that they can be taken for granted. Friendship needs to be regulary nutured, shareing time, thoughts, & feelings, or else people can grow apart, and all you have left is nostalgia.
