From beginning to end. Is it scary I still use the first role playing journal I ever made? ...Probably. You have to give me points for my consistency, though, right?
Sandman
Delirium - fishy_go_byebye - I came up with this when I was talking to a friend who was trying to convince me to join her game. I said there wasn't anybody I could play, but I had just read the Sandman novels and sputtered out a random thing I thought my favorite character would say. And this was it. Not a great story, I know. To this day I still can't imagine playing a character unless I can come up with a username without really thinking about it.
Desire - burnbrightnfast - Desire has strong emotions that usually fade as soon as its forgotten the fight (unless it has a grudge, and then they stick around for a really long time like... embers buried under ash). It also burns out the people it uses, as an emotion and a being. Hence, it burns bright and fast.
Firefly
Zoe Washburne - corporalzoe - Zoe was a Corporal in the Browncoat resistance. Not the most inventive name, and it took me a while to come up with anyway. I didn't manage to play her long.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Spike - awfulpoet - Spike had a cruel nick name of William the Bloody Awful Poet when he was alive, which he turned around into William the Bloody, and then got the name Spike by driving railroad spikes into people's heads. Awful poet is my way of showing how much the past still drives all if his actions, despite the fact that he says it doesn't matter at all. (But stop me now, I could go on about his character for far too long...)
Doctor Who
Martha Jones - in_earthlight - In the first episode we see Martha, she gets sent to the moon and there's a line about her standing in the earthlight. I thought it was poetic, and decided to keep it. Her journal layout is also really pretty, I edited the art myself, go look at it and tell me I'm spiffy ♥
Black Jewels Trilogy
Saetan Daemon SaDiablo - danceforglory - I used to snoop around trying ti find a BJT group a could play in (didn't work out so well), and I noticed that there are a ton of variations on Papa and High Lord but... Those never really summed him up for me. I ended up taking a quote from the book where Draca asked him if her would "Drink of the blooded rum, and dance for the glory of Witch." Which he responded yes to. I thought that summed his loyalty and belief up much better and chose it for his name. (The entire quote wouldn't fit...)
Dollhouse
Victor - followuintodark - Victor has a core personality of loyalty, and he fell in love with one of the other Dolls. When I decided that I got this song stuck in my head until I started to write an application for him and made a journal. Therefore, it seemed like the best choice. The actual line is "I'll follow you into the dark" but it's too long to fit. This was the closest approximation I could make go on.
Fruits Basket
Hatori Sohma - almost_draconic - He's the dragon from the zodiac but he turns into a seahorse, and he's not nearly as mean or cold as people think. So he's almost a grumpy old dragon, but not quite.
