today is greg's birthday! he enjoyed his gifts, which he opened last night. i got him stepbrothers (normally i am not a HUGE will ferrell movie fan, but this movie is pretty funny), a steve vai dvd (he is a sick guitarist), and 2 shirts. unfortunately, one of the shirts is too long so we'll take it back today

he is AMAZING!!! some of his stuff is mindblowing. he plays with an orchestra on this dvd, and it's definitely interesting.

Is the southern vampire series the same as that tv show True Blood?

yes, it is! the whole first novel 'dead after dark' is the basis for season 1. it seems like they are making each book a season. they actually added a ton of stuff to the show that wasn't in the book, but both are still really, really good. :)
