More icons. Well, I do have to do something when I can't sleep. I was trying out some red. Yes, lol. I really do think Lauren Bacall is one of the most wonderful actresses. I saw her on Parkinson last week and she made me laugh so much. She's also seems really young & vivacious for her age. So I kind of had to make icons ;) Oh, and I keep meaning

Gorgeous icons!! And you couldn't be more right about what an incredible actress she is. I saw her on Parkinson too, and then was lucky enough to snag a last minute ticket to see her interviewed at the National Theatre on Wednesday. And I waited for almost an hour afterwards to get her book signed. Her thanking me, for thanking her, rates up there with all the pretty great moments I've had! She's been my idol for years.

You should read the book - I have the original and love that. She has a really fun writing style, but can just make you cry as well. I haven't yet read the stuff she has added on for the new book, but I'm sure it will be just as interesting.

Thank you! As the book's still in hardcover, I may try track down a second hand copy of the original cos I spend far too much money on books and I've vowed not to for a while (I've bought about ten books in the last week. I'm ridiculously obsessed with the things). It's so cool that you got to meet her, I've never seen anyone famous at all (apart from the Queen but that hardly counts).

Well this book is definitely worth the money - you should track it down if you can. I know how it is when the spending on books gets out of control though. Especially with my classic star biographies - I shudder to think about how much I've spent on those.

I'm so happy I got to meet her - she is one of my five favourite actresses of all time so it was a real thrill. The Queen isn't bad though - I'm going to a reception at Buckingham Palace in a few weeks and am pretty concerned about all the etiquette rules I have to remember ;)

I really like the coloring on 3. That's neat! I like the touch of red on your icons. Really nice looking. I would take 6, but I don't really like the text. :( I absolutely love the look of the icon though!

It was my fault. I had way too much caffeine =/ & I'm sorry you don't like the text! I was listening to that song at the time and I couldn't get the words out of my head. I wish I'd saved the PSD. =( Anyway, enjoy the icons you did take =)

Thanks! I tried other colours but they didn't seem to work. I think a nice orange would look good if I can get the right shade. Anyways, enjoy =)
