Apparently, the shoes gods don't want me to be happy. I go to Nordstrom, try on all the red shoes they have, but none of them fit. I go to Dillard's, and they don't even have the ones I want in red. I check Zappos, and they don't even have the SHOE. I won't be stopped though. I'm going to hit every department store in the Galleria tomorrow after ( Read more... )

you know i will! it may end up being drunken foot shots in vegas, but there will be pictures of my red shoes.

Oh my goodness... I went on a very similar red-shoe hunting trip ON MY BIRTHDAY that surely took forever as well. Fortunately, these crazy red shoes from Nordstrom found their way into my heart just in time. (And by crazy I mean 4" heels...shall I ever wear them again???)

dude what kind are they- maybe i am looking for the same ones! that would be freaky.

but yeah, hella annoying when you can't find the red shoes. you would think they would keep extra ones in stock since they're so hip now. but no.

Well, I wasn't in love with them at first, but now I totally am. I actually wanted the Jessica Simpson pumps - despite the name - because they were darling and simple. Alas, there were none in my size, so the lady brought me 5 boxes meeting my requirement of "Red... like red-red red..." After putting them on, there were a total of 6 (YES, 6) middle-aged women who commented on them during the course of my test-run around the shoe department. The encouragement certainly helped.

You should try going back and asking salespeople to bring you boxes of red. Worked for me. The Dollhouse ones weren't even on display.

oh those are cute shoes!! and the thing about the jessica simpson ones- they're made by bcbg, so don't feel bad about buying them. that's actually what i was looking for too. i have the peep-toe slingbacks already in black, but i wanted just the normal closed-toe pump with that same sole in red. apparently they're not making them in red anymore. whores. and i ordered this other pair off zappos that is freaking sweet, yet too big. this is pretty much the most trouble i have had finding shoes ever. but i will pull a becky and make them bring me all the redredred shoes they have. i hope i will have as much luck as you!
