OMG is that basil? Wow....its so great to have your own herb garden where you can just choose and pick.

On a more hairy note...your hair looks great with the slight curls and letting your hair down makes you look even prettier. Should do that more often but then again I know how uncomfortable to have your hair hanging while doing housework...I can't stand it myself.

Your son is getting more and more handsome as we speak hehehe.

Yes, indeed, that is basil. It's still going nuts, regardless of the fact that it's started getting pretty cold at night (around 45F some nights). I'm trying to decide what herbs I want to try next year. The basil went well, but I think I'll skip it for a few other items next year. ;)

I actually do like my hair most days, but you're right -- it's such a pain having it down and pushing it out of my face all the time. Plus, the curls get soooooo tangled if it's down for very long; it's almost more trouble than it's worth. I've even considered getting my hair cut short, but I don't think I could ever do it. My hair hasn't been shorter than shoulder-length since my sister chopped it off when I was 4 -- I wouldn't know what to do with short hair! :)

And yep, all my boys are getting more handsome every day. It's almost frightening -- I know I'll have to be a walking answering machine once they're old enough to date! ;)

Great pictures! I am amazed by your basil plants also. I tired to grow basil once - mine were tiny, pale little things.

Thanks! They've taken me by surprise, too. I expected a few little, possibly struggling little things.... instead, they're trying to take over the deck stairs!!

Now, if I can just have half that luck with whatever I decide to grow next year, I'll be happy! ;)
