sorry to hear of your loss--our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

now she is at peace and will no longer be in pain or suffering.

I think we all grieve in different ways and I dont feel there is a rite wayor wrong way.

just think about all the good times you two had growing up and try to forget the rest.

Thank you Cory for your thoughts and huggggzzzzzzzzzz.
There were some good times even in more recent years.
I focus on those to heal the bitterness and anger that
was sometimes present.

Thanks for still reading my...once a year posts.
It's great to hear from you.
How are you doing?

I know your relationship was a little strained. But don't forget to remember the good times too. That's the joys of family, there are the good times and the bad times, sorta like on Brothers & Sisters. Although life would have been easier if she had been more accepting.

As for the grieving process, just do it the way that feels best for you, there is nothing wrong if you don't cry...we all have different ways of handling life occurrences. Sometimes you just want to punch something or scream or run. If you ever feel the need to talk to someone, please give me a call.

Lastly at least you know she is as peace now and no longer suffering.

I think I have done my crying when I said good bye before she passed. Not sure how I will handle the service though.

Her family has been very good. I'm not sure how close we will stay though. My niece and nephew don't live close enough to see often.

Thank you for the thought.
