First off, once you've reached here and you get confuzzled, I'd be more than glad to help you out. =)

Second, I'd love to see headers here. As for size, the largest for me would probably 600widthx350height or something like that. With content, the old celebrity/television show/film route is always a clincher, though stock headers are incredibly beautiful.

Friends only banners are also something I wouldn't mind seeing.

Everything's all up to you though, since this is all hypothetical. ;)

I really think those friends only banners are pretty useless in frequent amounts, though a few would be nice.
I think I good idea would to create wallpaper size graphics that are allowed to be cropped to the right size for each individual's header, still abiding by no other editing including resizing and still crediting you. I think that would be so much more convenient for a lot of people.
If you don't agree, I think it would be good to make headers that abide by your layout codes, because everyone uses them anyway.

I agree with this. I personally prefer patterns and stock images over tv/film/bands. They are just more universal.

That is SUCH a good idea, have never thought of that. I'd love that, taking my own crop from a wallpaper - all that's good about a header produced by someone else, but still fairly unique.

600x300 would be a good size for the headers.
as for what would they be of... um.. . just pretty images, the same pictures you make your icons out of.

I would use ^^ And I prefer sizes 700x300 & 600x250. :) Also if I ever use header, I use stock image headers with some lyrics. I hope you will make some headers someday, or just friends only banners. (: I really can say that I'll use them if you will.
