Right-ho, friends, I have been alerted to LJ's latest dick move, and have decided to dust off my old dreamwidth account and start cross-posting from there. I'm not going to make a big flouncy exit, but I do prefer DW's politics, if not their color scheme.

My DW is so dusty it has developed entire dust colonies with subsequent colonial revolutions by now. (I might start using mine again too, so I will add you there! Also, hiiii.).

Swollen tonsils are the worst -- do you think you'll have to get yours removed? D:

I've had far worse in regards to tonsilitis. About 6 years ago, I got a baaaaaaad case of strep throat, and they were so big I managed to impress an urgent care clinic doctor. They looked like parasitic alien fetuses growing in the back of my throat.

Point being, I didn't get them removed, and now they just flare up any time I start to get sick. I've grown kind of fond of the bastards.

The new "icon selection" tool for comments is AWFUL. The icons are in the order you uploaded them, not alpha order, and they take a while to load. GRRRR.

I honestly don't use LJ for much fannish stuff anymore, but for keeping up with people's personal journals, which I guess I can do over there? *shrug* We'll see. Regardless, this new change is definitely hideous.
