Summary: Faith’s feelings during the shared shower.
Faith felt feverish as she watched Buffy in the shower. She knew that something was troubling the blonde but she wasn’t sure what it was. She was positive that she had never let on to Buffy or her friends that she was attracted to her. Faith was certain that the other Slayer wouldn’t be worried about any unwanted advances. When Faith had told Buffy that there wasn’t a lot of hot water, she hadn’t been lying. There had been too many nights when she had ended up with an unintended cold shower, yet she didn’t know how she could tell Buffy that without telling Buffy how she felt for her.
“Are you okay B?” Faith asked breaking the silence.
“Yeah I am fine,” Buffy sharply replied as she refused to look Faith in the eye.
“Are you warming up okay?”
“Yeah.”
”Good, wanna pass me the soap.”
Buffy blushed under Faith’s casual stare and she almost dropped the soap. She blushed again at Faith’s muttered thanks before turning away again. Faith felt as if she was fire with desire, yet she reined it in. She didn’t want to destroy the fragile friendship that she had with the blonde Slayer. At least now she knew what Buffy looked like in the nude, Faith stifled a moan as her lions tightened with desire.
“Are you okay?” Buffy nervously asked.
“Yeah, I must have pulled a muscle or something,” Faith lied.
“Oh okay, I am getting out now.”
”Okay.”
Faith cautiously watched as Buffy clambered out of the tub and she found herself fascinated by the pale flesh on display. She quickly averted her gaze as Buffy turned around, and Faith knew that she was blushing. Yet she couldn’t help it, the blonde Slayer was everything that she had ever wanted and she knew that she could never have her. It was the classic scenario of you could look but you can’t touch, and it left Faith extremely frustrated. And now having been that close to heaven and being denied, Faith was starting to get angry.
