Well I just got back from taking my Final exam,I bombed it and got a C. Damn I feel like such a loser! I know I'm gonna pass the class, but my grade will be below an A, and my GPA will drop. I can't have that happen, I need to graduate with Highest Honors. I'm not pressured to, but it's a huge goal of mine

i dont get why some people are so against weddings outside of churches. the most beautiful weddings i've seen have been outside. good luckw ith saving your money :)

Why don't you have the actual ceremony in a church (or some other location that your grandmother will approve of) and then just have the reception at The Strawberry Mansion? Most people do both parts in different locations anyway.

I didn't want the traditional church wedding because Shaun and I aren't religious, although I have considered doing the church ceremony and having the reception at the Mansion. I'll just have to see how things go and how much things cost. I'm finding out quick how expensive weddings are, it's insane! :/

Well even if your grandmother wants the church wedding, if neither of you consider yourselves members of the particular faith that the church is a part of, you wouldn't be able to get married there anyway. You should explain that to her. I don't consider myself a religious person either, that's why I will most likely be having an outdoor wedding, or in some other pretty vicinity. Gosh, weddings are so expensive. I don't think I'll ever be able to afford one.
