Alright, I'm sure you all know my views on breastfeeding. I'm sure you all can see I'm a part of an LJ community called boob_nazis. But for those of you who may not know, let me give you a VERY brief rundown of my views on breastfeeding and formula feeding.

I'm not a breastfeeding nazi but I do believe in it. I think MA is totally right in trying to eliminate the distribution formula to new mothers. in fact, I think ALL the advertizing is ridiculous. I got one of those 'new mommy' bags when I left the hospital and all I thought was, 'what the hell? I don't want this sh*t' just because I think companies take their advertizing too far. but I did breastfeed because I had to. I was born with IgA antibody deficiency and I knew there was a chance that my son could be born with it. I think it's our society that's really screwed up because I would get looks from people when I'd breast-feed my son in public (even though he was covered by a blanket). sometimes I want to yell at people and say 'are you stupid? we're animals just like cows,pigs, horses, whatever. we wouldn't have even survived as a species if we hadn't breastfed just like other animals!' man, this little rant of mine is loooong. haha
