I ordered my usual (alu gobi, medium; and vegetable samosas) and then he said, "And naan ( Read more... )

What a nice moment! :)

Those doughnuts in sugary sauce were probably gulab jamun. If you heat up the gulab jamun a bit, they are just divine. Some people like to eat them with vanilla ice-cream but that's a bit too much for me personally.

*__* ohhhhhh thank you! That's really good to know the name! Now I know what to order next time. OH, heating it up! That didn't even occur to me! And with vanilla ice cream yummmmmm

Do you heat it up in that liquid it came in or should it be removed from the liquid prior to heating?

NP! :)
You should heat it up with the liquid. A few seconds in the microwave will do.

And just curious, but how much does one samosa cost in the area where you live?

It's $4 for two massive samosas completely filled to the brim with tastiness. They fill completely one of those small styrofoam takeout shells.

But if I buy frozen samosas from the grocery store I think it's maybe around that price or up to $6 or $7 (I guess I don't really know)--those are usually smaller samosas and there's probably 4-6 in the package.

How much does it cost near you?

(Sorry I took forever to reply -_-)
