I just saw a story on CNN Headline News about a woman who got stopped and got a ticket for a bumper sticker she had on her car. The bumper sticker said ( Read more... )

That was what I figured, that the cop is a GWB fan. I hope th post didn't imply that the president himself is responsible for it. Of course that's not possible, but I meant all the BS that surrounds him and his administration in general.

Exactly! While I can't blame the president himself for this act, I do blame it on the atmosphere that his administration has created. It seems many of our constitutional rights have been diminished greatly.

If a teenager can walk down the Mall with "Shit Happens" on his t-shirt, then this woman should be able to scream her frustration from the bumper of her car! Jesus God, what kind of police state are we permitting to develop in this country???

My thoughts exactly! As I told someone else, while I don't blame the president himself for this act, I do blame the atmosphere that's been created by his administration. Many of our constitutional rights have seemed to shrink under them.

That is a load of cow dung!!

My next door neighbor has at least two bumperstickers on her car that are FAR "worse" than that. One says "The only Bush I trust is my own" and the other one entreats people to go F**k themselves. I'm pretty sure that cop would poo himself if he saw them.

I hope she does challenge it in court. It's unacceptable.

"Like" is far to understated! I absolutely LOVE it! Yeah, I figure the cop must have been a huge GWB supporter. The problem I have with the thing is the fact that many of our constitutional rights have shrunk unbelievably under the atmosphere this administration has created.

Hi. I've been really sick for the past week or so. Been in bed, mostly sleeping. Battling a major flare of my disease. Haven't yet been able to get in the shower, even though I use a shower bench now, but have been doing sponge baths instead. Oh-I can't wait for a shower! Hopefully tonight or tomorrow. I was gonna do a post in my journal to let everyone know I'm alive-not kicking too hard, but alive. LOL But mediyogi caught me and said she'd do a post on spiritsisters and let everyone know. So instead I checked my e-mail for anything important-and there you were! I'm hoping to be well enough to be back on-line in the next couple days. Thanks for checking on me. :-)
