I promise this is just an update and not a "nothing but complaints" entry! As you can tell by my heading I'm still hot up here in the "nice cool mountains", but I got alot of good suggestions from so many of you and we are definately going to look into a room air conditioner once we are mobile again. We don't use credit cards, we're a strictly cash

How does your husband get to work with the van being out of service?

I'm so sorry to hear you're still hot up there. I wish you would let us chip in for something! Even something small! I will keep you in my prayers though. *HUGS*

Since I have a terminal illness my husband gets paid a small amount by the state for taking care of me. It's a 24/7 job and leaves him with no way to work outside the home. The darn thing is still acting up though. Next step is to try to find a mobile electrician who can track down the problem. And yesterday we finally got a break from the heat! Yippee!!

It is, isn't it! How's the little guy handling it? Hopefully you have some air conditioning?? We got lucky and got a break from the heat yesterday that held over until today-which is why I'm able to go on-line. :-)

we have no air conditioning! granted, it isnt as hot here as it is in some places. and it gets cool in the evenings

he's not doing too bad with it!
