I have not gone a night this week without listening to Nellie McKay before bed. She has definitely passed the "really good artist test," now I should give her a rest because her new cd is coming out sometime in December (complete with a duet with Cyndi Lauper, holy rapture). I don't know who Nellie McKay is, but if she's singing with Cyndi Lauper, she must be good.

I like the name Jitterbug. I miss Sylvia. haha

When I went to go see Billy Idol this summer, I was POSITIVE he was going to pull me up on stage, and eventually backstage where he would realize he was loved me as much as I love him. In the end, I got eye contact during the breakdown of "Eyes Without a Face" and a prayer-hands gesture. I peed myself, so it's a very good thing he didn't take me on stage because I would have had an aneurysm.

Gillian, when I have cash I am definitely buying it. I love the album cover, I saw it online. [I think I saw her randomly a while back on that late night Carson Daly show, singing and playing on a beautiful red piano.)

Maria, I knew you'd approve of the Jitterbug name (I miss the Frigid Bitch too.).
___That Billy Idol anecdote of yours is wonderful! I am very jealous and proud of you. I am sure you'll be telling that one at tea parties when we are both in our 70s. Hopefully I'll have a great Rufus or David Bowie one by that time, so we can trade Rock Star concert stories back and forth.
___I have this urge to make you a crazy mix cd. What's your address? (perhaps send me a facebook message with it, if you so desire to)
