Can anyone tell me why Pat Benatar and Meat Loaf never did a duet together? I mean, c'mon! And I'm not talking the standard Meat Loaf "duet" where he gets all the good parts and the female voice is merely an afterthought. I think the universe prevented this happening because of what would surely have resulted:
nirvana (the blissful achievement of perfection, not the band...that happened anyway!)

Jesse you are a genius. I can't think of any reason why it never happened. Pat Benatar and Meatloaf would be amazing together. Maybe you should be slightly less picky and settle for Meatloaf as he now is. They could still produce some pretty awesome music. Give it a chance. (Like how I'm speaking as if they are in the process of doing a song together?)...perhaps you could just play a song by each of them simultaneously...
