I'm not one to really do this, but Gina asked me to and I rarely disobey Gina. So 5 "Weird Things" that I do:
1] I sing really loud on the beach at night - Or during the day when no one else is there. Usually with my head phones on, but sometimes a capella and always off-key(well, not intentionally). I sing at the top of my lungs walking up and down the beach and when my voice is too hoarse or if it gets too frigid, I stop. It is amazingly therapeutic. Sort of like when Gina and I went to the park to practice screaming for "Anarchy" (Gina, I hope you know how much I cherish that moment).
2] I am afraid of smelling bad - That is my most dreaded social inadequacy. I don't wear cologne or anything over the top, just a lot of deodorant....and I'm not a smelly person, I just think it would be the most embarrassing thing if I was. Trust me, I've meet people who stunk, it is a hard thing to get past.
Along that same wavelength...
3] I believe that Febreze not only illiminates odors, it cleans things, too - Clothes that are a bit pungent? I Febreze them and then they are completely A-Okay to wear. Of course, I wash clothes every once in a while....but Febreze really keeps me from doing laundry too often, and I love that.
4] I do the tongue twisters that we did in High School theatre before I am about to meet an old friend or apply for a job or talk with a teacher - Mind you, in my everyday life, I don't speak often. I am more of the quiet listener. So when it comes time to actually talk like a normal person, I do tongue twisters to work out the kinks in my speech that arise from lack of use. My favorite is: "Betty Botter bought some butter, but she said 'This butter's bitter!' So Betty Botter bought some better butter to make her bitter batter better." I try to get people to do them with me, but they usually give me odd looks(I think they think I'm showing off?).
5]....I'll edit later when I have a good #5. My mind is blank.
