Pop & Circus chants

I would like "Pomp & Circumstance" more if it was called "Pop & Circus chants." I'll write a song one day with that name. Feel free to steal it for personal amusement in the meantime.

The rain makes me think of songs about rain or referencing the rain in some way in their titles. (Rainbows, raincoats and words like that don't apply here)

Heh. Speaking of Creedence Clearwater revival songs, I've had "Bad Moon Rising" stuck in my head all day.

And that's my deep thought for the evening.

Oh Gina, I wouldn't wish that upon anybody. Maybe we could start a support group for people afflicted with the infectious horror that is Creedence Cleerwater Revival. Although I think most people with that condition would prefer to suffer in silence and anonymity.

I am excited to see you dorkmeister plastic glasses.

P.S.-Spellcheck says that I spelled Cleerwater wrong, and they offer words that they think I meant to say, and one of them is Jerkwater. I think that sums up my feelings for the band pretty well. Creedence Jerkwater Revival.

I never liked "Pomp and Circumstance"...I think it is because I've had to play it too much. That song is very annoying to play.

The rain makes me think of this one time when I was a little kid....we were getting ice cream from one of those silly trucks and it started downpouring out of nowhere. We ran home eating our ice cream. :)

People bark far too often. You think we would have come up with some better strategies by now.

"People liking me is apparently more important than me liking them." I never thought of that, but you are quite right. Unfortunately as far as the "giving a shit" portion of your entry...I tend to think if you haven't stopped yet, you won't. No worries, it isn't a bad thing. :)

I must know what the Spandau Ballet is...I've never heard of it, but it has the word ballet in it and that is quite the quote, so I am thinking it must at least be okay.

Spandau Ballet is this 80's band with two really good songs. I'm sure you've heard "True" before (even if you don't recognize the title), and "Gold" is really good too. Their name is marvelous.

I think everything you said rings true.

I adore your ice cream in the rain story.
