I downloaded the FFXI benchmark, and it wouldn't even run, so I think I'm gonna have to wait until the PS2 version comes out before I get it. ;_; That way the video card won't be an issue and the only thing I'll have to worry about is my connection. Hopefully a dial-up will still work on PS2.

You know that you'll have to buy that hard-drive thing or whatever it is for your PS2 right? =/ Maybe you should see which would be cheaper? The HD or a new card? ^_^
Whatever video card you purchase has to run on the ATI Radeon or GeForce FX engines, if I'm not mistaken.
Mine's a GeForce 2 Go Mobile in my laptop. I'm sure it BARELY passes requirements given that I have to run it on almost the lowest resolution with all the lighting and weather effects off. =P
I want to see the game on high-res with everything turned on just for kicks. ^_^
