Hey! I checked out your LJ and found out that you are also friends with badtzmaru115, xaeroscotty66x, and outlawed. And you like some of the things that I like. *laughs* and DISTURBED is my favorite band so of course your added! ♥Jen
Oh yay a new friend ^^ well any friend of thegodofwar is a friend of mine :) and as for Kurt Halsey ahhhh I love LOVE LOVE his art. It's as if all his paintings or drawing were speaking to me. They all draw out such emotion although they're very simple terribly cute :)
Thank you for adding me; I added ya back and welcome aboard! ♥Jen
I'm curious. Maybe I'm being stupid or maybe it's because I am reasonably new to this - I have only had a journal for a few months now. I'm not sure why everyone has started to go "friends only". Is there any chance someone could explain the benefits to me?
Hey sorry this is late I would have answered you back sooner but my computer decided to crash on the week you commented.
On to the question. Well, first off welcome to LJ! *laughs* it's not you being stupid I think it's a totally legit question. I went "friends only" not because everyone else was doing it but more because I felt like I needed a sort of private version of my journal. Instead of it being "public" where anyone can literally drop into my LJ I went "friends only" this way I know who could be reading and whose leaving the comments and such. I had an on-line diary at dland before I got LJ and I guess it was just too public.
I guess people go "friends only" for the some privacy or at least that's what I'm assumping. The benefits I suppose is just knowing who's reading you LJ. ♥Jen
