Always loved the Klaxons image, and the bands get up for this weeks NME cover is no exception. Totally rocking the space-age shaman look. I wish I could pull off something like that!

They've got quite an early 1980s look going on. It's interesting how they borrow from several genres of the time :)

I dunno whether we can call this a contious trend or not over the last 4 years, because on the one hand it could be a trend, on the other hand it might be my mind just making connections. But it seems like around the Klaxons time dressing up a bit became quite cool. You'd see MGMT with their nu-tribal look on their album cover and video for 'Time to Pretend' and then there were Empire of the Sun lol!
