Glofa?

I was at a party of burners two weekends ago, a relatively spontaneous thing, when I suddenly had an idea for a glowing sofa.
Since I already had nearly all of the necessary materials at hand, I thought "two weeks is PLENTY of time to make this!" This being me, y'know.

Then there were uncertainties - would I be able to find space on the cargo container to Burning Man? Would the container go at all? Most importantly,
would there REALLY be time to build this? Other stuff kept intervening. I finally decided to go for it on Friday night, and stayed up late fabricating all of the pieces that would be needed.
Saturday night, I started programming the lights and preparing the wiring. On Sunday night, starting at 9:30PM, I started assembling it.

At 1 AM, it was done. I threw a length of white faux fur over the whole thing, and voila!

A glowing loveseat

I was nearly ecstatic that it came together so nicely in so little time. Total cost: $22. A coincidence? I think not!

We got it to the container loading site just in time. It was one of the last things to go on, fully assembled and ready to plug and play on the playa.

So, it needs a name. My best effort so far is: Glofa, a merger of "glowing sofa". But it's not official yet. Any suggestions out there?

Did I mention this is composed of 92 color changing lights? Think ripples of color spreading across it at various speeds. There's a button panel on the side of the couch to select different shows.

If you're at Burning Man this year, keep an eye out for it.
